Arseniy Yatsenyuk and Federica Mogherini have discussed issues concerning bilateral partnership, political and economic problems as well as security and the final agreement on the EU-Ukraine Association.
Mr. Yatsenyuk asked the EU countries to block the Nord Stream II project, according to which Gazprom is allowed to ship an extra 55 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe every year via the Baltic Sea.
In November, 10 EU Member States forwarded a letter to the European Commission objecting to the proposed Nord Stream II. Most countries suppose that the Nord Stream is also a threat to Ukrainian revenues as Russia expects more than $2 billion each year for transit.
