It includes 12 indicators such as innovative capacity, infrastructure, higher education and professional training, macroeconomic stability, quality of goods and services market, development of financial market and others.
1. Switzerland.
Switzerland takes the first and rightful place in the ranking for the seven consecutive year, demonstrating very good results in almost all parameters: according to the innovative capacity - the 2nd place, in terms of the indicator "Higher education and professional training" - the 4th place, the infrastructure – the 5th one.
2. Singapore.
Singapore is also a leader of the ranking of competitiveness and is not almost interior to Switzerland. In terms of infrastructure Singapore takes the 2nd place, in terms of the indicators "Higher education and professional training" and "Quality of goods and services market" – the 2nd and 1st places, respectively. According to the results in "Labour market efficiency" and "Development of financial market", the country is the second.
3. The USA.
The USA has got the highest rates on such parameters as "Labour market efficiency" (the 4th place), "The size of the domestic market" (the 1st place) and "Competitiveness of companies" (the 4th place).
4. Germany.
As compared with the rate of the last year, Germany climbed from the fifth to the fourth line of the ranking. The country showed the best results on infrastructure (the 7th place), according to the indicators "The size of the domestic market" (the 5th place), "Competitiveness of companies" (the 3rd place), "Innovative capacity" (the 6th place).
5. Netherlands.
The current year turned out to be positive for the economy of Netherlands: the country went up from the eighth to the fifth position. It has dot the highest rates on such parameters as "Infrastructure" (the 4th place), "Health care and primary education" (the 5th place), "Higher education and professional training" (the 3rd place), "Competitiveness of companies" (the 5th place).
6. Japan.
Japan, whose rating remained stable in comparison with the rate of the previous year, has got the highest indicators for infrastructure (the 6th place), according to the positions "The size of the domestic market" (the 4th place), "Competitiveness of companies" (the 1st place ) and "Innovative capacity" (the 4th place).
7. Hong Kong.
The position of Hong Kong in the list of competitiveness also remaines unchanged. The administrative region of the PRC can boast of the achievements in the field of infrastructure (the 1st place), quality of goods and services market(the 2nd place), labour market efficiency (the 3rd place) and development of the financial market (the 1st place).
8. Finland.
Finland is less fortunate: its rating has declined markedly. The country moved from the fourth to the eighth position. To date, Finland has the highest rates on such parameters as "Health care and primary education", "Quality of institutions", "Higher education and professional training", "Innovative capacity".
9. Sweden.
In this year Sweden climbed one position up to the 9th place. In 2014, the country took the 8th place in the ranking of competitiveness.
10. Great Britain.
Great Britain closes the top 10, sinking in the scale as compared to the rate of 2014. The United Kingdom has the highest indicators on such parameters as "The level of technological development", "Labour market efficiency", "The size of the domestic market" and "Competitiveness of companies".
